- To clean the kettle before use boil some water and discard it.
- As with most water kettles, it is safe to fill this kettle to the bottom of the spout. Do not over fill - this can result in boiling water spilling out of the spout.
- After boiling water do not place an empty or part filled kettle back onto the same heat source. This could cause irreparable harm to the base.
